About us

International College is classified as a first-degree academic unit of Providence University. It mainly functions on integrating, planning, and implementing international development to bridge itself to an educational goal which combines international academy and profession. International College is constituted of three departments, which respectively are Language Center, International Business Administration Program, and Graduate International Program. In reference to the image below, the units that have been established are framed under a full line while the ones that have not been established are framed under a dashed line. Chinese Language Education Center, though established, will be merged into International College in 2016 due to its functions and administrative attributes. Currently, the Department of International Business Administration is a second-degree academic unit jointed by International College and College of Management. In the future, this joint establishment will be applied to other joint departments as a subsidiary unit of its relevant college and be in charge of its admission and administrative affairs. Moreover, International College will be responsible for academic and international affairs of these joint departments. The structure of International College is presented in the following image:

  • International Business Administration Program & Global Foreign Language Education Program: To integrate teachers scattered in departments and teaching resources and provide bachelor degree in specialized fields for students.
  • Global Master of Business Administration Program: To integrate teachers scattered in departments and teaching resources and provide master degree in specialized fields for students.
  • Foreign Language Center: It is established to integrate resources for disciplines and equip teachers through intercultural competence training and to advances the level of internationalization.pic
